Pre-Crisis Awareness to Supports and Services

Our lead in ending homelessness is in Prevention Awareness of the supports and services offered, ongoing and freely available across Canada. Mentor/Mentee Canada is beginning a Pre-Crisis Support line to Resources and connection to Partner organizations this Winter to avert the repetition of epidemic last-resort high needs of respite centres and high life costs of last winter to decrease not having supports needed in time!

CAMH, The Centre of Addiction and Mental Health, in Ontario is one of the leading ongoing drop-in resource centres and hospitals for families and those affected by mental health distress, trauma, and addictions. In your own city, is a social services directory to supports for health distress, financial problems related to housing, family and relationship supports. In Edmonton, dialing 411 is a service to a Mental Health support to connect with such resources. In Victoria, British Columbia, The Coalition to End Homelessness is a collective of organizations that provide this valuable connection to supports. Together, through awareness of Pre-Crisis services before last resort, we can end homelessness and even Poverty in Canada.
