The Transformative Approach to Pilot Peer Support Service

In response to Covid-19 research and recommendations, Mentor/Mentee Canada is offering a transformative approach to onboarding Peer Support services in your organization. In order to support Staff mental health and resiliency following Covid-19, Peer-to-Peer onboarding and development is available for organizations to experience first-hand the engagement and recovery-focused effects of Peer Support service for themselves. Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Peer Support for Staff is ready to move from proposal to pilot at your organization.

Staff and Leadership will be provided with mental health Peer service in order to serve Clients better and maintain their own wellness as we transition out of Covid-19. Staff will experience the living values and principles of Peer Support, understand what Peer Support is and how it works. This deeper appreciation for Peer essential service will organically transfer to piloting a Peer Support program for clients with less risk and uncertainty.

Staff and Leadership can, and should, be trained in Peer Support practice to adapt to all public service team environments. As we adopt more holistic wellness (that includes mental health wellness tools) into our own lives and habits, communicate through peer supportive language as we are all peers, and believe in recovery through community more deeply we can implement changes in mainstream systems to work better for all of our health, and impact greater healing for our clients.
